Teachers
The teachers at our studio have extensive performing and teaching experience from around the world. They studied at renowned institutions such as the Rubin Academy of Music (Israel), the Saint-Petersburg Conservatory (Russia), the Tbilisi Academy of Music (Georgia), and Adelphi University (NY). They performed as soloists and orchestra members in Germany, Belgium, Italy, Czech Republic, France, Switzerland, and USA, to name a few.
Diana Barkan is the president of SOM. She teaches violin and piano.
Dimitri Barkan teaches theory, vocal, guitar, trumpet, and all woodwind instruments.
Vladimir Kozlov teaches violin and viola.
Shelly Barkan is the manager of SOM. She teaches piano, violin, vocal, and woodwind instruments.
