Welcome to the Sounds of Music studio!

At Sounds of Music, students explore their musical potential in a supportive and inspiring atmosphere. Our philosophy is to welcome all who wish to enrich their lives through exposure to music, no matter their level of current capability. We offer every single student a personal approach according to their needs. Our studio offers a unique opportunity to experience music in a non-competitive, educational, and enjoyable environment. We also host annual recitals to showcase our musicians' talent while giving them the chance to perform for an audience.

 

Students range from beginners to experienced musicians of all ages. We are able to prepare them for auditions to music-centered schools and colleges. Our musicians have been accepted to Fiorello H. LaGuardia High School, Mark Twain Middle School, David A. Boody Middle School, Bay Academy Middle School, Fort Hamilton High School, Xaverian High School, Edward R. Murrow High School, New York University, Hunter College, Northeastern University, and New Paltz University.
